Equip works in partnership with Colleges of Further Education on programmes designed to prepare them for greater independence in future life.

The Equip Project works with young people up to 25 years old with a learning disability and those with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.

Equip focuses on delivering bespoke activities that provide educational, vocational and social learning opportunities as well as the practical application of essential life skills.  We work in a variety of ways, including 1:1, working in groups and work experience all designed to develop life skills, independence, confidence and self-esteem.

"It is adventurous, you can be yourself. Everyone is nice, helpful, down to earth and the staff are friendly and really part of the group too. Friendships last even after leaving."
